Mawi or his fullname Asmawi Ani was married with his sweetheart Norashikin Rahmat or Ekin on 20 December 2008 at mosque in Johor Bahru. To me, this wedding was surprised to their fans. What I know is Mawi’s wedding was one of the biggest and lavish marriage ceremony. In my opinion this wedding wasn’t sponsored 100% by them, but also was sponsored Maestro. For me, it is not waste their money. Like their wedding reception first arranged by Ekin’s family on 20 December, secondly arranged by Mawi’s family in Felda Taib Andak on 28 December and thirdly sponsored in Kuala Lumpur on 1 January 2009. Besides that, its usually to the artists have a high dowry like Ekin received RM 30,000 from her husband. But , its very invaluable that Mawi gave to his wife a beautiful ring from Habib Jewels and the price is RM 276,100. Its very expensive but its okey because that’s ring as their nostalgia love. Even Ekin very lucky person because the Habib Jewels want to make a special sponsorship a jewels along their wedding day and the prices is RM 2.5 millions. However, this wedding very interesting although spend a lot of mony because in our life, married only one thing.
lastly, I hope they're happy together.
