A popular singer, Mawi just got married with Norasyikin Rahmat @ Ekin very biggest and lavish marriage ceremony. The ceremony was telecast live on TV in this country. However, his wedding very lavish and completed. Many guests including members of the royalty, vvips, relatives, friends and the media are expected to attend the grand ceremony.
In my opinion regarding this article by 'Gladys Tay ' (The Star Online), Mawi and Ekin's wedding are biggest and lavish ceremony very rational with his status but I think its waste a lot of money. As example in this article that offered a dowry of RM30, 000.Then we can see too that all cost from Baju Melayu, songket , jewellery worth more than RM67,000. Meanwhile, Ekin with Baju nikah and jewellery worth more than RM72, 000. So, it's very waste a lot of money. Moreover, economy circumstance who not stable now. On the other hand, Mawi and Ekin's wedding very over. We know that everyone dream to having wonderful marriage ceremony but I think enough with perfect and important in wedding ceremony. I mean that Akad Nikah actually who important in Syariah Islam. We know that in Islam too not encourage make grand and over in wedding.
Beside that, when I read this article about Mawi and Ekin's wedding, I worry if have some people think negative about them and cause controversial to being most popular. For instead, I think too maybe can damaged in his career. Maybe have some people dislike and not satisfied with his wedding ceremony. We can see that the wedding ceremony was telecast live on TV as the wedding of the year. I'm just worried if to be like Yusri and Erra's wedding cause ceremony in wedding them very grand like thus wedding. But depend of them…. Mawi and Ekin's wedding too were any other publicly-mega publicized wedding of the year. It's very over. I think better just to be simple in wedding and enough to enjoy and beautiful in wedding day. Lastly, what can I say that every people dream married who wonderful wedding but not over and most important not waste in wedding ceremony. Anyway, I wish good luck and happy to Mawi and Ekin in life.
